More TLoT Images
Artist Jason Dunda created elegant little paintings in the spirit of Tiepolo for The Likes of Them. He also has been working on a series of drawings on The Simpsons. Like taking notes in school, or creating illustrations of icons on a computer's desktop, Dunda assimilates what quirky items of note pass by during the course of an episode of The Simpsons. Each drawing is done during the time the episode airs. It is conceptual art, it is pop art is comic art it is humor art. Just enjoy it and don't forget to scroll down to see more from the exhibition that is busting blocks left & right!

A Message from Ruprecht Dogheit
Hello.
My curatorial firm, Ruprecht Dogheit & Associates, was formed in 2003. Our first project was the creation of "Dogheit/Nirvana Paintings," an exhibition of work by cutting-edge artist Erik Wenzel.
Our current endeavor is the fascinating group outing "The Likes of Them." Featuring the work of Kimberly Aubuchon, Mariano Chavez, Jason Dunda, Jeremy Somer, Chris Uphues & Erik Wenzel. Art Organizer Britton Bertran has contributed an essay and brief profiles of the artists to the exhibition catalogue.
"The Likes of Them" is on view at The Little Known Gallery through 2 October, 2004. The gallery is located at 614 W Monroe in Chicago, IL. Gallery hours are Saturdays & Sundays noon - 5pm
